Boulder problems are relatively short, but they are intense, with powerful moves. They require a lot of energy per attempt.

Resting between attempts when bouldering is important, in order to prevent overuse injury. If you keep firing to the same crimp, and almost hitting the move, your tendons will grow fatigued.

A boulder problem might take only a minute to climb, but require 10 minutes of rest between attempts.

Savor the rests, have fun, spot your friends, learn from watching others and rest well. This allows you to gradually build endurance, minimize injury, and attain your goals.
